Before you start

  • About 10 minutes.
  • Node.js 22 or 24. Check with node -v.
  • Claude Code already installed.

Step 1: Install and start it

npm install -g omniroute
omniroute

That starts the gateway and its dashboard on your own machine.

  • Dashboard: http://localhost:20128
  • API: http://localhost:20128/v1

See npm warn ERESOLVE while installing? The OmniRoute team says those warnings are harmless.
