Find things out
01 · Web search
Perplexity · Get a fast, cited answer on something that changed recently, then check the sources before you repeat it.
- Open perplexity.ai and sign in so your threads are saved.
- Turn on Pro Search for questions with more than one part.
- Paste the prompt and let it finish.
- Open at least two cited links for every figure you plan to use.
What changed in organic reach for LinkedIn company pages between June and September 2026? Give five findings as a table with columns: finding, date, source name, link. Only include findings with a dated 2026 source. Write 'no source found' rather than guessing.
Expected result: A five-row table with a dated, clickable source on every row.
Check: Click every link. Each page must show the claim and a 2026 date. Delete any row that fails. Do not rewrite it.
Access: A free account includes a limited number of Pro Searches. Pro raises the limit and adds more citations per answer.

ChatGPT Work with GPT-6 Astra · Hand over a multi-source research job and get back a finished, cited report.

- Pick GPT-6 Astra if your plan offers it. Otherwise keep the default.
- Paste the prompt and approve website access when asked.
- Open the report and its source list.
Research how five UK B2B SaaS brands price their entry plan today. For each, record plan name, monthly price, what is included and the pricing page URL. Return a two-page report with a comparison table and a list of every URL used.
Expected result: A report with a five-row comparison table and one source URL per brand.
Check: Open three pricing pages at random. Plan name and price must match the page today. One mismatch means recheck the whole table.
Access: Work runs in the desktop app on all plans, and on web and mobile for Plus and above. Astra in Work needs Plus or above and may still be rolling out.
