What happens

Why it matters

1. Set up

Checks Opus 5.5, HyperFrames for the MP4 export and the apple-design skill. Asks before installing anything.

The video is built as code, so it needs a renderer.

2. Style file

Reads frames from the launch videos you admire and writes MOTION.md: colours, type, timing, easing, pacing and five things it must never do.

It takes the moves from the references and the colours from your brand, never the other way round.

3. Read first, then ask

Adds a rule to CLAUDE.md so it reads MOTION.md before every frame, then asks you five questions.

Without this, Claude picks its own look and invents what you did not tell it.

4. Apple's rules

Audits every build against Apple's motion guidelines and ranks what feels off, worst first.

It turns "it feels a bit cheap" into a list of fixes.

5. Real screenshots

Uses only the product screenshots you attach, floated as glass panels. Asks for one rather than drawing a stand-in.

Invented buttons are what make an AI video look like slop.

6. Notes like a designer

Takes your notes one at a time, checks the video like a buyer would, and offers to save taste notes into MOTION.md.

This is the step that makes it look expensive.

That’s the first part. The rest of this guide is free too.
